For each of the Days posts in Yellowstone, I’ll be pretty much photo dumping a lot of beautiful photos I’ve taken throughout my route for that particular day. Some of you who wish to be mesmerized upon reaching there, you can just read the text in these beginning paragraphs.
Route taken (focus on southeast of park): West Thumb, LeHardy Rapids, Mud Volcano area, Sulphur Caldron area, Hayden Valley

Spoilers ahead of amazing Yellowstone photos!!
Took a while to drive here. We travelled south to east passing by Old Faithful again.
Here at West Thumb. More springs and geysers near the lake.
Light Yellowish / Emerald Green
Doing a quick stop at LeHardy Rapids. About 2-3 minutes walk only.
Then we drove to the Mud Volcano area
Dragon’s Mouth Spring. Description reads, “An unknown park visitor named this feature around 1912, perhaps due to the water that frequently surged from the cave like the lashing of a dragon’s tongue. Until 1994, this dramatic wave-like action often splashed water as far as the boardwalk. The rumbling sounds are caused by steam and other gasses exploding through the water, causing it to crash against the walls of the hidden caverns.”
A bit of a hiking trail to get to the top
Around the Mud Volcano area, there are other springs and caldrons. All are sights to behold.
Black Dragon’s Caldron and Sour Lake

Sulphur Caldron, literally 1 minute driving opposite from the Mud Volcano area
This pretty much wraps up the entire Yellowstone trip. Like said in my The Best Tips For Yellowstone When Visiting From West Yellowstone post, four days is sufficient number of days to look at everything at a relatively comfortable pacing and getting to see Yellowstone comprehensively. There are many other hiking trails, geysers, valleys, and marvelous sights to see here, but that will require you to spend even more than four days to enjoy. For us, four days definitely felt enough to grasp what Yellowstone was able to offer, and we felt blessed to be able to come here. Definitely the best national park and one of the best nature activities I’ve ever done in my entire life.
